Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take vital signs and record patient information
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
• Monitor patients for any changes in condition and report to the appropriate healthcare provider
• Assist with documentation and maintaining accurate medical records

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program
• Knowledge of electronic medical record system is preferred
• Experience in patient assessment, aseptic technique, and primary care is desired
• Ability to work in various healthcare settings such as assisted living facilities, and nursing homes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others
• Familiarity with dementia care and critical care is a plus
