Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
School Psychologist (K–5) | 2026–2027 School Year
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Schedule: Full-Time, 8:50am - 3:35pm
Grade Level: Elementary (K–5) One Building
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive elementary school team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position serving students in grades K–5.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports
- Assist in developing appropriate interventions and recommendations for students
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
Qualifications:
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
