Job Summary (Registered Nurse 3 East Family Medicine)
- Provide care to patients admitted under Medicine or Med Tele criteria in a complex med/surg unit.
- Deliver patient care utilizing advanced Med Surg Telemetry skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and health management.
- Adhere to required rotating shifts, including day/night, holidays, and weekends.
- Maintain current RN licensure in Ohio and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Hold BSN and/or rehabilitation or professional nursing certifications.
- Demonstrate higher-level proficiency due to the complex nature of patient needs.
- Work under conditions with no guaranteed hours and overtime paid at a regular, all-inclusive rate.
