Operating as a full-service fabrication shop, they are committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service from start to finish.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Press Brake Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 20.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines to bend and form metal components to specificationRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate productionPerform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiencyInspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standardsTroubleshoot minor machine or production issues and make necessary correctionsMaintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety protocolsPress Brake Operator Qualifications:Previous experience operating and programming CNC press brake machines preferredAmada press brake experience strongly preferred for higher-level candidatesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work ordersStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal fabrication processesExperience with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges) to ensure precisionAbility to perform machine setup, tooling changes, and adjustmentsBasic troubleshooting skills for machine and production issuesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentReliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as neededApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
