We are seeking an analytical and process-driven Investment Business Process & Analytics Analyst to support the continuous improvement of investment management operations across the investment transaction lifecycle. This role focuses on documenting, analyzing, optimizing, and modernizing front-office processes while enhancing data accessibility, reporting capabilities, and technology utilization.

The ideal candidate combines investment industry knowledge, business process improvement expertise, data analytics skills, and stakeholder management capabilities to drive operational efficiency and support better investment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

• Map and document end-to-end investment lifecycle processes, including:
• Deal Sourcing
• Due Diligence
• Underwriting
• Investment Approval
• Portfolio Monitoring
• Portfolio Performance Analysis
• Assess current-state workflows and identify operational inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, and process gaps.
• Design future-state workflows that improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
• Develop process improvement roadmaps with measurable objectives, milestones, and expected business benefits.

Front-Office Operations Improvement

• Evaluate investment team workflows and operational practices.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual activities and streamline information flows.
• Recommend operational enhancements that improve productivity and reduce risk.
• Support adoption of standardized operating procedures and best practices across the investment organization.
• Act as a change champion during process transformation initiatives.

Data Analytics & Investment Insights

• Identify, define, and refine key investment performance metrics and decision-support analytics.
• Develop analytical frameworks that support portfolio management, performance evaluation, and investment decision-making.
• Translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Support data-driven decision-making across investment teams and leadership groups.

Business Intelligence & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Create visualizations that combine quantitative analysis with executive-level storytelling.
• Provide portfolio, investment, and operational reporting to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve reporting accuracy, usability, and business relevance.

Investment Technology & Systems Support

• Evaluate and improve utilization of investment management platforms and technologies.
• Support configuration, administration, and optimization of investment systems.
• Assist users with troubleshooting, training, and best-practice adoption.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through system enhancements and automation.

Data Architecture & AI Readiness

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality datasets.
• Improve data structures and processes to support advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Ensure investment data is accurate, accessible, and properly governed.
• Support preparation of datasets for future AI, automation, and decision-support initiatives.

Documentation & Governance

• Develop and maintain documentation for:

• Ensure consistent application of governance standards and process controls.
• Support auditability and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience in:
• Investment Analytics
• Business Analysis
• Process Improvement
• Asset Management

• Experience documenting and improving business processes in investment or asset management environments.
• Demonstrated success identifying inefficiencies and implementing process improvements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
