When it comes to gearbox repairs and rebuilds, Bearing Headquarters is the best. We can repair or rebuild any brand — even custom boxes. We can fully recondition many machine parts, including rollers and trunion wheels.

We also perform spray metalizing and hard surfacing. The additional metal replaces eroded machine parts and saves you money by extending the life of your machinery.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers. This role is responsible for responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about products and services. The CSR ensures timely and precise processing of orders, quotes, and customer complaints. Key responsibilities include managing inbound calls, monitoring and responding to requests from the shared customer service email inbox, and handling requests from the shared Contact phone queue. Success in this role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, professionalism, friendliness, effective time management and a can-do attitude. All customer requests, no matter what their source, are managed with equal attention to ensure every BHQ customer receives the respect, time, and care needed to meet or exceed expectations. The CSR plays a vital role in upholding and surpassing our “Service First” commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer orders and quotes accurately and efficiently using company systems.
• Ensure accurate review and coordination of quote and order processing across multiple channels, including EDI, portals, web, and consignment.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person regarding order status, delivery issues, or product availability.
• Coordinate with various personnel including warehouse and shipping staff to resolve discrepancies in orders, shipments, or inventory.
• Participate fully with SPE initiatives, including Purchasing and Billing as outlined in the centralized process.
• Support business development initiatives by fostering positive customer relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Manager to implement new policies, technology, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, inventory control, and operations) to improve customer satisfaction.
• Works closely with Operation Manager to ensure day-to-day location duties are met ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in all customer-facing and back-office operations.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with Sales and other internal teams.
• Identify trends in customer complaints or inquiries and recommend process improvements.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent GED required
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment preferred
• Experience in industrial product sales or wholesale distribution preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements, operational policies, and customer service best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP/WMS systems a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
