The ideal candidate will possess their CPA and have more than 4 years of experience.ResponsibilitiesReview estate and trust returns, supervise the preparation of income tax returns, and assume primary responsibility in the preparation of complicated returnsAssume responsibility: including client contact, coordination within the company, staffing requirements, administrative documentation, and preparation timing for engagementsParticipate with more experienced personnel in planning and researching complicated tax issues and direct clients on the optimal solutionsWork on special projects and oversee the activities of associates and senior associatesDevelop and maintain quality client relationshipsDevelop skills to attract new clients and market the company’s services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clientsRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting with more than 4 years of experience in public accountingPossession of CPAExcellent interpersonal skills in working with staff and clientsAbility to provide guidance and direction to department staff who are not direct reportsWarren Averett is an equal opportunity employer.
