AI Platform Engineering Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Lead execution of AI-assisted development and AI-enabled solutions within the Enterprise Applications ecosystem
• Translate enterprise AI architectural direction into practical implementation plans, platform configurations, and delivery-ready solutions
• Ensure AI-related initiatives are executed with strong governance, security, compliance, and operational readiness standards
• Coordinate across Enterprise Architecture, AI Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and Business teams to ensure aligned execution of approved designs and requirements
• Oversee implementation of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across SDLC, including integration with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and identity/SSO systems
• Manage delivery quality for AI initiatives by identifying and closing gaps in requirements, validation, testing, and release readiness
• Support evaluation and execution of AI tooling and platforms through POCs, vendor assessments, and comparative analysis
• Establish and maintain reusable patterns, standards, and implementation runbooks for AI-assisted development within Enterprise Applications
• Monitor adoption, performance, and risk of AI-enabled solutions using metrics such as productivity, quality, throughput, and compliance adherence
• Partner closely with the Director of Enterprise AI to ensure initiatives are executed efficiently while maintaining alignment to broader strategy

Must Haves

• Experience in software development roles
• Strong hands-on technical background as a former developer with ability to understand system-level implementation decisions
• Experience delivering cloud-based enterprise solutions , including integrations and production deployments
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or enterprise AI initiatives (e.g., Copilot, LLM integrations, internal AI tooling, automation in SDLC)
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments with governance, security, and compliance requirements
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and identity/SSO integrations
• Ability to operate in high-ambiguity environments and independently drive execution and structure
• Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate across technical teams, architects, security, and business stakeholders
• Experience working in agile delivery environments (Scrum-based execution, cross-functional coordination)

Nice to Haves

• Experience supporting or implementing enterprise AI governance frameworks or standards
• Background in developer platforms, internal engineering tooling, or DevEx initiatives
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD, SSO architectures)
• Exposure to vendor evaluation processes (RFI/RFP/POC) for AI or enterprise platforms
• Experience improving engineering productivity through tooling, automation, or platform enablement
• Familiarity with secure software development practices and audit/compliance requirements in regulated environments
• Prior experience in roles such as platform engineer, technical lead, or engineering enablement lead

Pay: $120k-190k

Work Environment: Fully remote, can sit anywhere in U.S
