Experience an enriching opportunity supporting students with a variety of needs as a contract special education teacher across multiple school sites. In this dynamic role, you will provide instruction in settings ranging from moderate, co-taught resource rooms to multi-categorical self-contained classrooms. Assignments are available for elementary, middle, high school, and PreK levels. Your expertise will directly contribute to meaningful student growth and academic achievement.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teacher License with Multi-Categorical or applicable certification required
• Endorsement or certification in Early Childhood (EC) for PreK roles
• Experience supporting students in moderate or special settings, co-taught, resource, or self-contained classroom environments
• Adaptability to teach various age groups: elementary, middle, high school, and PreK
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive learning environments

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction based on IEP goals in special settings and resource classrooms
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records in accordance with district and state requirements
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to enhance student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, develop progress reports, and contribute to ongoing educational planning
• Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student independence, self-advocacy, and growth
