The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across residential, commercial, solar, and industrial environments. Working mostly on-site under supervision while capable of independent tasks, this role involves utilizing standard and specialized tools, interpreting blueprints, ensuring code compliance, and maintaining safety standards. Occasional regional travel is required to support diverse project locations.
Responsibilities
- Install and wire electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Test and troubleshoot circuits and electrical components
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment and systems
- Coordinate projects and document work accurately
- Interact professionally with customers and team members
- Enforce safety procedures on job sites
- Use standard electrical tools and specialized diagnostic equipment
- Employ software tools for project management and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License
- Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical code compliance
- Proficient in reading blueprints
- Skilled in circuit troubleshooting and wiring installation
- Familiarity with safety procedures and tool operation
- Strong problem-solving abilities
