Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workers Compensation Defense Attorney to join our legal team remotely. On-site is available. The ideal candidate will have experience in workers compensation law and a strong background in defending claims. This position aims to provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation to clients in workers compensation defense cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to workers compensation claims.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary to represent clients.
• Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to workers compensation matters.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing parties and insurance companies.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and case law affecting workers compensation defense.

Qualifications

• Jurisdictional license to practice law as an attorney.
• 1+ years of experience in workers compensation law and defense.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload.
