Optician/Optical Associate

Dr. Rogers founded the company on ethical resolutions to treat all patients, all employees, and the whole community in a non-extractive, intentionally personal manner. All eyewear is ethically sourced from first world countries or America. Job Summary As an optician with Resolution, you would work alongside and guide the optical associates while providing style and fit consultations on the sales floor, record optical measurements, adjust frames, explain pricing and insurance discounts to customers, and help with day to day operations. Responsibilities Welcome patients with kindness and provide them with necessary electronic “check-in” documents Knowledgeably guide patients through insurance language and accurately convey policy information Quickly learn and utilize specialized optometric software to record patient information Perform basic pretesting and room preparation prior to visit with onsite physician Carefully listen to the stylistic preferences of the patients and “wow” them with personalized frame recommendations Understand and educate patients on complex lens options and assist them to make the best possible decision based on the doctor’s recommendations and their desired visual outcome. Compute sales prices, total purchases, and receive and process payments. Ensure accuracy and precision in performing and recording optical measurements, adjusting ophthalmic frames, and troubleshooting vision issues Work with other team members to ensure excellent store-wide customer service & attend trainings on optical processes and techniques. Qualifications Tech savvy Knowledge of electronic insurance filing preferred A minimum of 2 years prior retail experience preferred. Previous Optical experience preferred but not required.
