Registered Nurse – Rehab (Inpatient) in Herrin, Illinois. This is a 13-week travel assignment beginning 09/07/2026, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are Days. The role is on a hospital inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on neuro-dominant populations, with duties aligned to standard medical floor responsibilities excluding heparin drips. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,091–$2,180 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Start date: 09/07/2026 Setting: Inpatient rehab on a hospital unit Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to adults on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, including mobility help, daily living activities support, and documentation of progress Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses; note that heparin drips are not used on this unit Conduct ongoing patient assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary care plans with therapy, nursing, and case management Monitor neuro status and support stroke or other neurological patients using unit-specific protocols Document care in the electronic health record with accurate, timely entries; ensure patient safety and quality of care Requirements Current Illinois Registered Nurse license CPR/BLS certification ACLS certification NIHSS or stroke certification (required for neuro-focused population) Ability to work day shift on an inpatient rehab unit within a hospital setting Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week Weekly pay: $2,091–$2,180 13-week travel assignment On-site orientation and unit onboarding Dedicated staffing support from the recruitment team Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
