What You'll Do: In the Practicum Coordinator role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and practicum placement for student interns across multiple programs and service sites. Intern placements include master's level, bachelor's level, associate level, and certificate programs among a range of positions and programs in a social service agency. Recruit, screen, and assess student readiness, learning goals, and risk level to match them to appropriate sites across the agency Monitor placement quality and intervene when concerns arise, including facilitating corrective action plans or reassignment of interns in collaboration with supervisors and academic partners Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners in higher education Serve as the primary liaison between Interfaith, academic institutions, and internal supervisors to ensure all practicum requirements, documentation, and evaluations are completed in compliance with university and agency standards. Conduct regularly scheduled check-ins with interns after placement Design and facilitate intern onboarding and ongoing learning opportunities to support professional development and alignment with agency practices Maintain accurate records and files, and prepare reports as required by funders and the agency administration Make recommendations to the supervisor regarding any program changes needed to meet grant benchmarks Ensure the confidentiality of client information and health records Meet regularly with the supervisor and participate in agency meetings and staff trainings. Approach student supervision and placement coordination using a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework that promotes learning, psychological safety, and professional growth Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Requirements Who You Are: You're passionate about making a lasting impact, whether supporting individuals directly or enhancing our organizational effectiveness.
