Digital Media Designer

Established distribution company headquartered in Morris County, New Jersey is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Media Designer to join its marketing team. This hands‑on role is responsible for supporting and enhancing the company’s visual identity while developing compelling marketing, digital, and brand initiatives that drive business growth and customer engagement. The Digital Media Designer will develop and execute marketing communications, digital experiences, website initiatives, and brand-related projects across multiple channels. Working closely with leadership, marketing, and sales teams, this individual will help maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence while supporting key business objectives. The ideal candidate is an experienced creative professional with a strong background in digital marketing, graphic design, web design, and branding. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and hands‑on execution, with the ability to deliver high‑quality visual content in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute creative solutions across marketing, digital, advertising, social media, website, and corporate communications initiatives while maintaining a consistent brand presence. Support and maintain brand standards, ensuring consistency across marketing, sales, customer‑facing, and internal communications materials. Collaborate with leadership, marketing, sales, and business development teams to create creative solutions that support business objectives and customer engagement. Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns, product launches, promotions, events, and customer engagement initiatives. Design and produce digital marketing assets, including email campaigns, social media content, website updates, landing pages, digital advertisements, presentations, sales materials, and online publications. Utilize Figma to create web layouts, wireframes, prototypes, design systems, reusable components, and digital campaign mockups. Design and support website enhancements, content updates, landing pages, navigation improvements, and user experience optimization in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external development partners. Apply UX/UI best practices to improve usability, accessibility, readability, visual hierarchy, and overall customer experience. Create engaging creative assets for seasonal campaigns, blogs, case studies, sell sheets, lookbooks, internal communications, and marketing collateral. Develop visual storytelling that effectively communicates brand messaging and business objectives across multiple channels. Manage and optimize photography, product imagery, logos, video content, and branded assets for digital and print applications. Create or assist in the development of motion graphics, short‑form videos, animations, and multimedia content for digital marketing and social media platforms. Design creative assets for trade shows, events, booth graphics, signage, promotional materials, and presentations. Ensure all creative deliverables meet company standards for quality, accuracy, brand alignment, formatting, and production readiness. Present design concepts and creative recommendations to marketing leadership and internal stakeholders. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations. Maintain organized creative workflows, templates, asset libraries, image repositories, and design documentation to improve efficiency and consistency. Coordinate with external agencies, photographers, videographers, and creative vendors to support project execution when needed. Stay current on design trends, digital marketing best practices, emerging technologies, social media formats, email standards, and evolving consumer behaviors. Contribute ideas that help strengthen the company’s visual identity, creative capabilities, and overall brand presence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field preferred. 5–7 years of experience in graphic design, digital media, branding, marketing design, web design, or related creative disciplines. Experience contributing to branding initiatives, digital marketing campaigns, website design projects, and multi-channel marketing efforts. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in digital marketing, web design, branding, presentations, print collateral, campaign development, and multimedia content. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. Strong proficiency with Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, design systems, UI design, and collaborative workflows. Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive web design, accessibility standards, customer experience, and digital best practices. Experience creating motion graphics, animation, video content, or interactive digital experiences is a plus. Strong knowledge of typography, layout, composition, color theory, visual hierarchy, and brand design principles. Familiarity with digital marketing metrics, campaign performance analysis, A/B testing, and user engagement analytics preferred. Experience designing assets for email marketing, CRM campaigns, social media advertising, and marketing automation platforms preferred. Experience leveraging AI-powered creative and productivity tools to enhance design workflows and content development is a plus. Excellent communication, collaboration, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.
