Mancan has partnered with a Willoughby company who is in need of a Material Handler. First shift 6am-4:30pm working Monday-Thursday. 30 minute lunch break and 2x10 minute breaks

General Purpose:
Responsible for performing a variety of inventory management and material handling tasks to support efficient warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and shipping. Ensures accurate inventory control and timely movement of goods within the facility and to external locations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Pick and kit components, raw materials, and finished goods per Job Orders for production or shipment.
* Replenish inventory locations using incoming materials from suppliers or the shop floor (RTS).
* Conduct assigned inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
* Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, including physical handling and system transactions.
* Communicate effectively with Sales, Production, and other departments regarding inventory needs or issues.
* Respond promptly to inventory requisitions and internal inquiries.
* Load and unload delivery trucks and secure facility at the end of the day.
* Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling tools.
* Drive company vehicle (non-CDL) for local pickups and deliveries as needed.
* Assist with unloading and staging of container shipments.
* Maintain clean and organized work areas; ensure safety practices are followed and walkways/electrical panels remain clear.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Prior experience in warehouse operations preferred.
* Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with email.
* Ability to perform basic transactions within an ERP system.

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to routinely lift and handle boxes weighing up to 60 lbs. (typically 20 lbs. or less).
* Regular use of material handling equipment and tools.

Working Conditions:
* Warehouse environment with physical activity including standing, lifting, and operating equipment.
* Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and handling occasional truck loading/unloading.
