Senior Product Manager, Mobile Platform

Role Description This role is for a Product Manager who will enable our internal and external customers with secure mobile applications, offline syncing, intelligent notifications, and other core mobile services. The Product Manager will be responsible for ensuring Salesforce meets the needs of our customers through a technical platform product, working with customers and cross‑business functions such as product experience, site reliability, customer‑centric engineering, operations, and release management. Responsibilities Plan and execute the short‑term (3‑6 months) roadmap of a mobile platform product/service day‑to‑day with developers, technical writers, and design. Strategize medium‑to‑long‑term priorities of the team (1‑3 years) to make our customers and partners successful. Gather feedback from internal and external partners and customers on how the roadmap can be iterated over time to meet their needs. Market and evangelize current features and roadmap across multiple mediums (blogs, podcasts, live streams). Serve as the main point person for feedback, questions, and comments regarding your highly technical product to partners, customers, sales representatives, customer‑success people, and others. Requirements BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles. MBA is a plus. Motivated by solving complex problems and bringing order and structure to ambiguity. Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross‑organization teams to execute important company priorities. Desire to market platform services and products through blogs, events, podcasts, and other mediums. Ability to communicate to various stakeholders, ranging from tactical technical detail to high level strategy. Experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations. More details about company benefits can be found at The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 – $260,100 annually, and in select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas the range is $207,800 – $285,800 annually.
