Responsibilities Delivery & ExecutionLead end-to-end delivery of Sitecore and supporting digital platform solutions, ensuring high-quality and maintainable implementationsOversee development, testing, deployment, and support across multiple concurrent initiativesManage delivery timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation to meet project commitmentsEnsure adherence to SDLC, agile practices, and release governance and teams follow platform architecture, integration patterns, and standards Guide teams in leveraging Sitecore and SitecoreAI capabilities within solution deliveryMulti-Platform Delivery OwnershipOversee enhancements, maintenance, and lifecycle management of multiple digital platforms and web properties within the Digital Solutions portfolio (beyond Sitecore)Ensure consistency in development practices and delivery processes across platformsOperational & Budget ManagementManage operational budgets for digital platform delivery, including:Staff augmentation and vendor spendPlatform-related operational expensesProject delivery budgetsPartner with Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams on:Vendor selection and onboardingContract execution and SOW alignmentFinancial tracking and budget forecastingEnsure adherence to financial controls and organizational policiesVendor & Resource ManagementManage third-party vendors, system integrators, and offshore/onshore teamsEnsure vendor performance aligns with delivery expectations, quality standards, and cost controlsOversee resource planning and capacity management across teamsOperational Excellence & Quality AssuranceMonitors operational metrics and processes and implements standard methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverablesEstablish and enforce development practices, coding standards, and quality controlsMonitor system performance, reliability, and operational healthEnsure compliance with security, privacy, and organizational standardsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and coach development teams and technical leadsDrive a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and continuous improvementSupport hiring, onboarding, and workforce planningStakeholder CollaborationPartner with business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned to defined prioritiesCollaborate with BT input on feasibility, estimation, and delivery sequencingCommunicate delivery status, risks, and dependencies to leadership Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)3 years minimum of application development experience with supervisory responsibilityStrong experience with Sitecore (XP, XM Cloud) or similar platformsExpertise in .NET, APIs, and enterprise web application developmentProven experience delivering enterprise-scale digital applicationsPreferred8 years of application development experience with leadership responsibilityExperience with SitecoreAI and personalization enablementExperience with headless/composable architectures and modern front-end frameworksExperience with Azure cloud and DevOps practicesFamiliarity with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, CDP, Coveo, etc.) Compensation & Benefits The American Heart Association invests in its people.
