Job Summary Performs moderate and selected high complexity tests on clinical laboratory specimens in various laboratory sections. Validates and report results of tests performed. Performs and documents Quality Control. Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures. Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies. Participates in continuing education. Degrees Minimum Qualification: Associates Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Related Science in (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) License & Certifications Medical Lab Technician (Or) Medical Laboratory Science (Preferred) Work Experience No work experience is required in clinical laboratory Communication Skills Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking) Writing/Correspondence Writing/Reports Proficiencies MS Access MS Excel MS Word Personal Computer Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Analytical Abilities Medical Terminology Knowledge Research Knowledge and Abilities Statistical Knowledge and Abilities Work Schedule Flexible #J-18808-Ljbffr Harris Health
