PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This positionis responsible forassistingtheDirector of Aviationin the transportation of company officials, customers and passengers on the company ownedaircraftinacost-effectivemanner whichis in compliance withFAA standards.This position is also responsible forassistingwithaircraftmaintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Assist theDirector of Aviationinoperatingthe companyaircraftin a safe,cost-effectivemanner in compliance with FAAstandards

• Assist theDirector of Aviationwith pre- and post-flight preparation including assessment of weather conditions as well asaircraftreadiness.

• This positionis responsible forchart updates and replacements.

• Assistin thecost-effectiveuse of the companyaircraftthrough safe and efficient scheduling

• This position will perform regularaircraftpreventativemaintenance including washing, waxing,vacuuming,and general cleaning.

• Upgrade andmaintainaviation knowledge and skills throughongoingeducation and certification.

• Assist the FlightDepartmentManager with all administrative requirements associated with the use andmaintenancetothe corporateaircraftincluding preparation of flight logs and records, FAA correspondence,policiesandprocedures.

• Maintainaircrafthangarfacility asrequiredto ensure security and inventory of needed supplies.

• Assist the Maintenance Manager withaircraftrun ups if asked while maintenance performs required checks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Associatesdegree in a related field

• 250 total flight hours on applicableaircrafttype

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate willdemonstrate:

• Multi-engine Commercial Pilot Certification

• Class II FAA Medical Certificate

• FCC Radio Telephone License

• Current Passport

• Ability to travel 75%

• Ability toliftto 50 pounds into and out ofaircraft

• Validdriverslicense

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to performaircraftinspections

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Thisrole will not have supervisoryresponsibilities
