Senior Tax Accountant

A well-established CPA firm in Rockville, MD is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing tax team. What You'll Do Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple industries Assist with tax planning, research, and advisory projects Review financial information and supporting documentation for tax compliance Communicate directly with clients and provide guidance on tax matters Identify potential tax issues and opportunities Assist with complex tax projects and special assignments Collaborate with Managers and Partners on client engagements Mentor and support junior accounting staff What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in public accounting and tax Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance Experience preparing business and individual tax returns CPA or CPA eligibility strongly preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines Proficiency with tax and accounting software Why Consider This Opportunity?
