Luminis Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established Endocrinology/Diabetes practice. This position involves managing complex endocrine patients, with the ability to perform Fine Needle Aspirations (FNA) considered a plus. The Nurse Practitioner will work in collaboration with a contracted physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered care, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n* Manage and treat patients with complex endocrine conditions.
\n* Provide education and counseling tailored to each patient's medical needs.
\n* Conduct same-day and acute care visits as required.
\n* Communicate treatment plans and progress with patients, families, and care teams.
\n* Refer patients to appropriate specialists or healthcare providers when necessary.
\n* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies and regulations.
\n* Perform duties in compliance with the State of Maryland BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAHS policies.
\n* Stay current with licensure, certifications, and continuing medical education requirements.
\nQualifications:
\n* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
\n* Minimum of two (2) years of related clinical nursing experience.
\n* Experience in Endocrinology preferred; FNA skills a plus.
\nLicenses & Certifications:
\n* Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
\n* Active Maryland Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
