IT Support Specialist - Temp-to-Hire
Location: Hayward, CA
Pay: $28-$30/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for employees within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on position supporting computer hardware, software, user accounts, network connectivity, and general IT troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
• Set up computers, user accounts, email, and access for new employees
• Install, configure, and maintain software and computer equipment
• Assist with password resets, permissions, and general user support
• Support printers, scanners, phones, and other peripheral devices
• Troubleshoot basic network and Wi-Fi issues
• Maintain IT equipment and documentation
• Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary
• Provide friendly, responsive support to employees across the organization

Qualifications
• Previous experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or a similar role
• Strong Windows and Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 troubleshooting skills
• Experience supporting PCs, laptops, printers, and common office technology
• Basic understanding of networking, user accounts, and system permissions
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently and supporting users with varying levels of technical knowledge

Position Details
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering $28-$30/hour, based on experience. The position is onsite in Hayward, CA, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
