Dental Hygienist Department: Hygiene Employment Type: Full Time Location: Wichita, KS Compensation: $50.00 - $52.00 / hour Description Wichita Family Dental East is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are looking for a punctual, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about patient care, thrives in a team environment, and delivers exceptional clinical experiences. This role offers commission-based pay tied to clinical production , providing an excellent opportunity for motivated hygienists to be rewarded for their work. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planning Conduct periodontal charting and thorough patient assessments Take and review digital radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and preventative treatments Identify and communicate areas of concern to the doctor Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Active Dental Hygienist license in the applicable state required Current CPR/BLS certification required Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Positive attitude and commitment to patient-centered care Benefits Medical and Vision Insurance PTO 401k Matching #J-18808-Ljbffr GPS Dental
