Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse position is located in Bozeman, Montana. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Labor and Delivery Department, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support maternal and neonatal health. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse), American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (recertification every 2 years), and proficiency in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in labor and delivery, antepartum, intrapartum, preoperative, circulating, or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Essential Job Functions: Collects comprehensive data, analyzes assessment findings, develops and implements individualized care plans, promotes safety and health, evaluates nursing practices, and collaborates with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Additional Information: Must be able to catch/transition nurse, act as Charge Nurse, float to other departments as a safety companion, and demonstrate competence in stroke care, including participation in cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, stand, walk, climb, bend, reach above shoulder level, push/pull, perform fine finger movements, and maintain visual and cognitive alertness continuously.
• Schedule Requirements: Regular attendance is essential; may include working beyond standard hours, weekends, after-hours shifts, and on-call duties.
