Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sander/Finisher role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities:

Sand, grind, and finish materials and products to meet quality and appearance standards.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
Inspect surfaces and completed products for imperfections, ensuring proper finish and consistency.
Prepare products for painting, coating, assembly, or shipment by cleaning and smoothing surfaces.
Maintain production schedules while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Assist with material handling, loading, and moving products throughout the production area.
Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production goals, quality concerns, or equipment issues.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sanding and finishing equipment.
Accurately document production activity and report any defects or operational concerns.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior sanding, finishing, manufacturing, or woodworking experience is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
Willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, or weekends as required.
