About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Amazon to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the US and Canada Amazon P&L, with a focus on executing a multi-year growth agenda. This includes leading the 3P-to-1P migration, rebuilding the merchandising engine, and installing full-funnel retail media to drive sales both on Amazon and in the company's dominant brick-and-mortar business. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in driving top-line, bottom-line, and category share on an Amazon business of significant scale, and the ability to use Amazon to grow a broader omni-channel or brick-and-mortar business. The Head of Amazon will also be tasked with agency management, maintaining personal relationships inside Amazon, and fluency with the modern Amazon data stack. Candidates for the Head of Amazon position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience, and a strong background in 1P fluency, Amazon Marketing Cloud, and tentpole execution. The role requires a leader with the ability to influence in a matrixed organization, a builder and orchestrator mentality, and a change-management style that is collaborative and data-driven. Personal characteristics such as high integrity, merchant's instincts, and a hypothesis-driven approach are essential. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, energized by educating others, and have the patience and diplomacy to navigate a company in mid-transformation.
