Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Chemotherapy Services)

Location

Madison, WI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Full-Time | Shifts available: 5x8 hours (7:00–15:30) or 4x10 hours (7:00–17:30), Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in an outpatient clinic setting
• Perform peripheral IV (PIV) placement and port access
• Provide IV hydration, blood product administration, and injections
• Monitor and assess patients throughout treatment in accordance with oncology nursing standards
• Float to other units or areas as needed per facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• ONS or ONCC certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion clinic setting
• Familiarity with port access and management of complex IV therapies
