Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Onsite | Full-Time | Shifts available: 5x8 hours (7:00–15:30) or 4x10 hours (7:00–17:30), Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in an outpatient clinic setting
Perform peripheral IV (PIV) placement and port access
Provide IV hydration, blood product administration, and injections
Monitor and assess patients throughout treatment in accordance with oncology nursing standards
Float to other units or areas as needed per facility requirements
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
ONS or ONCC certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience within the last 3 years
Must pass a telemetry/cardiac rhythm interpretation exam prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion clinic setting
Familiarity with port access and management of complex IV therapies
