This role is paid on an hourly basis with a range of $33.00–$44.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws. The expected approximate annualized compensation range is $70,000–$90,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location.

Summary of Position

We're looking for an ambitious Civil Engineering student who's ready to launch their career as a Civil Engineering Designer . You'll join a collaborative team and help bring exciting land development projects from concept to construction.

Responsibilities

• Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges
• Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents
• Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application
• Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards
• Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
• Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials
• Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets
