If you're an enthusiastic engineer who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is ready to create a meaningful industry impact, this opportunity is for you!ResponsibilitiesApply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challengesPreparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documentsCoordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applicationPreparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3DResearch regulatory requirements and design standardsPerform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvementsPreparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materialsAssist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgetsAttend project meetingsQualificationsWe’re looking for talented professionals who are eager to grow their skills and contribute to high-quality, meaningful work. The following qualifications will help you succeed in this role: 1-5+ years of experience in site development designBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experienceExperience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site developmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with MS OfficeA desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goalsSelf-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client serviceDemonstrated ability and willingness to identify practical uses for company-approved AI tools to improve team processes, support better decisions, and increase efficiency Demonstrated ability to review AI-generated content for accuracy, protect confidential information, and remain responsible for the final work productWork LocationThis is an onsite role based out of the following Core States Group offices: Roseville, CA; Bellevue, WA; Kent, WA; Richland, WA; Scottsdale, AZ; Frisco, TX; Bentonville, AR; Tampa, FL; or Philadelphia, PA.We are also open to remote candidates based in Florida.
