Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear and compassionate guidance
• Work closely with radiologists and referring providers to generate precise and high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure effective operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly addressing any equipment issues
• Accurately document procedures and uphold patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent credentials
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
