Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-risk obstetrics and be committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout the labor process.
Assist with high-risk deliveries and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum care.
Perform assessments and interventions as needed to ensure ideal outcomes.
Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
Basic Life Support certification.
Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last two (2) years.
One (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
Experience in High Risk Obstetrics is preferred.

Shift

This position requires working the night shift from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM.
