Docket Specialist - Litigation

Polsinelli is seeking a Docket Specialist to join our centralized docketing team. Core Responsibilities Review, analyze, and interpret pleadings, court orders, notices, and other legal documents to identify and calculate critical deadlines in accordance with applicable court rules, statutes, local procedures, and Firm docketing protocols research and interpret Federal, State, and Local rules and procedures across multiple jurisdictions Enter, update, and maintain deadlines and other critical dates in the Firm’s centralized docketing system Perform quality-control reviews of docket entries and deadline calculations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Firm procedures Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on understanding all aspects of docketing and processes in a timely and professional manner Assist Docketing team members as backup and provide additional support as needed Actively interact and collaborate with team members to provide deliverables and service to the highest and most sustainable level of quality and professionalism. Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Assume additional duties and/or responsibilities, as requested Skills Strong attention to detail Solid initiative and independent judgment skills Ability to manage and prioritize work efficiently Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong ability to take ownership and responsibility for workload Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team Excellent interpersonal skills; positive and proactive manner; strong work ethic Ability to manage and prioritize work efficiently. E-filing and familiarity with PACER and Electronic Court Filings (ECFs) Knowledge and understanding of the litigation process Requirements 3-5 years of docketing, relevant legal support, or equivalent experience in a law firm or legal services environment is required Experience with Aderant CompuLaw or other docketing systems preferred College degree and/or paralegal certification (or equivalent experience) preferred Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook The budgeted salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
