Financial Analyst II

Financial AnalystIntercontinental Exchange is looking for a Financial Analyst. This position is based in Atlanta and reports to the Director of Finance as part of our corporate finance team, and works closely with senior management, including the corporate Senior Finance Director, CFO and President. As a Financial Analyst within the Finance department, you will create key performance indicators to measure our progress and update monthly reporting as required. Additionally, you will support the annual budget process and generate the monthly forecast.ResponsibilitiesLead monthly financial forecast process for key business units or core departmentsDevelop key growth drivers and facilitate deeper understanding of impacts to revenue and expensesAbility to deliver actionable results through data analytics and summarize complex research conciselyConduct financial analysis of potential new products, pricing strategies, and strategic opportunitiesCreate and analyze key performance indicators for managementCommunicate financial analyses to our financial team and senior managementCreate and maintain management reporting packagesSupport annual budget process and preparation of annual Board presentationPrepare weekly reports highlighting market share and relative changes in positionPrepare ad hoc projects as necessaryMaintain Hyperion financial system which supports budget and forecastKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Finance or closely related discipline0-3+ years' experience in financial analysisMust possess strong analytical and financial analysis skillsMust have excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivatedMust work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong technical aptitude and understanding is preferredAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Knowledge of Oracle Hyperion products is preferredExperience with Python and data visualization tools preferredExperience with financial markets, exchange and/or trading industry preferredIntercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
