Data Center Project Manager

Overview HDR is seeking a project manager focused on client development and delivery of data center projects. The ideal candidate has proven experience delivering data center and mission-critical projects from upfront planning and pre-design through detail design, construction support, and commissioning. This role involves managing multi-disciplinary design teams and developing and securing work from HDR's global client base, with some travel to client sites or HDR offices required. Responsibilities Collaborate on development strategies, new business prospects, technical services, quality, and production methods and standards to achieve the goals of the business group, region, and company. Manage and lead project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Travel to project sites (10-20%), including international travel as needed. Flexible work schedule to accommodate international project support. Control project budget, scope, and schedule. Ensure product deliverables meet quality standards. Forecasting, invoicing, and contract management. Promote HDR through regular client interface. Engage in mission-critical staff recruiting in collaboration with the Business Group Manager. Create essential proposal content including scope, schedule, and budget. Lead HDR presentations at interview events. Work cooperatively with local office leads, other business group leads, technical directors, and marketing managers. Other technical or managerial tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field. 7 years of related data center experience. A minimum of 2 years project management experience. MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience is a plus). Demonstrated leadership skills. Active participation in our employee-owned culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
