Job Overview City of Roseville Environmental Utilities Team – GIS Analyst I / II This role involves analyzing, managing, and disseminating spatial data to support municipal utility planning, operations, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include building GIS databases, coordinating with cross‑department teams, ensuring the accuracy of essential utility layers, and producing maps, reports, and insights that directly influence citywide operations. Qualifications – GIS Analyst I No professional experience required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in geographic information systems, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field. Qualifications – GIS Analyst II Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to a GIS Analyst I with the City of Roseville. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in geographic information systems, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field. Selection Process Applicants will be evaluated through a formula rate examination, interviews, and supplemental questions.
