Executive Housekeeper

Full-Time Executive Housekeeper | Kentfield, California

Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday Anticipated Start: Mid-August 2026 Open to local Bay Area candidates! A warm, busy family in Kentfield, California is seeking an experienced full-time Executive Housekeeper to help manage their newly built primary residence along with a second nearby property. The role calls for someone who can keep a large home cleaning and running smoothly, manage guest turnover, and work independently without close oversight. This is a great fit for a Housekeeper who is comfortable supporting a busy family, enjoys a fun and relaxed team environment, and brings strong organizational habits to the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the main residence along with a pool house.
• Provide housekeeping support once a week at a second nearby property, and occasionally more when hosting guests.
• Oversee guest room preparation and turnover.
• Manage a high volume of household laundry, including bedding, towels, and family clothing.
• Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness throughout both properties.
• Clean windows and handle other recurring household upkeep tasks.
• Create systems to track household inventory, communicating needs as they arise.
• Provide light vendor management, particularly during the family's move-in period, when multiple vendors will be on site.
• Provide kitchen support to the family's Chef during busy periods and events.
• Work with the discretion and professionalism appropriate to a private home.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a private home or in luxury hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a well-kept household.
• Able to work independently across two properties with minimal oversight.
• A calm, friendly, and adaptable personality that fits well within a close-knit household team.
• Reliable and discreet, with an understanding of the nuances of working inside a private home.
• Deep knowledge of care protocols for high-end and specialty surfaces; ability and willingness to learn property-specific product guidelines.
• Strong adaptability and composure when navigating shifting priorities.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to communicate directly and professionally with principals.
• Absolute discretion and commitment to principal privacy.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Local to Marin County.
• Willingness to undergo an in-depth background check and provide stellar employment references.
