Role Role: Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the OR and perioperative services, functioning as an RN first assistant and circulator as needed. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Assist during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring quality care throughout the perioperative continuum, in accordance with scope of practice, credentials, and competencies. Qualifications Qualifications: Graduate from a nursing program with completion of an AORN-RN First Assistant course. Requires a minimum of two years perioperative RN or RNFA experience, or three years in CVOR if applicable. Must hold CNOR and BLS certifications, with a current Georgia RN license. Preferred certifications include CRNFA, ACLS, and PALS.
