The primary purpose of your position as a clinical shift supervisor is to supervise the clinical team during their shift, including resident care and medications, assistance with clinical oversight, and employee relations.

Schedule details:

• Full-time status on 2nd shift (4 pm - Midnight), working 32 hours a week
• Weekend rotation required - Every other weekend

What this role would look like day to day:

• Facilitate and oversee resident care needs of the clinical staff
• Manage day-to-day clinical staffing needs
• Attendance at various meetings involving resident care issues
• Communication liaison between management, physicians, families, and staff
• Initiate and update resident care plans, assist with discharges and admissions, assist with complicated clinical needs of residents, assist with medication pass and treatments
• Assist in ensuring orientation and training process of clinical staff, conducting employee evaluations, counseling personnel as needed, and keeping written personnel records as required.

Requirements:

Nursing license as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with relevant experience from the state of Michigan preferred. If not licensed as a Nurse, 3-5 years of experience as a clinical supervisor with Med Tech experience required.
