FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions at MercyOne Genesis, 1227 East Rusholme Street, Davenport, IA 52803. Applications accepted online only. The full‑time schedule runs Monday–Friday with rotating weekends; hours may vary. No experience required – we provide training. Pay is $16.00 per hour. Job Summary Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types Other duties as assigned by manager Qualifications Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Certain positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
