This role involves developing from the ground up, primarily using embedded C++. You will work on projects utilizing a 32-bit microprocessor.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement software and firmware for new products.Program primarily in embedded C++.Work on projects utilizing a 32-bit microprocessor.Engage in full-cycle embedded software development.Collaborate in a safety-critical environment, such as medical device or aerospace industries.Incorporate Board Support Packages into project development.Essential Skills5+ years of embedded software development experience.5+ years of recent RTOS experience, preferably with QNX or Free/Safe RTOS, but experience with TI/BIOS, uCOS is acceptable.5+ years of experience with embedded C++.1+ year of experience in a safety-critical environment (medical device or aerospace).1+ year of experience working with Board Support Packages.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in both C++ and C programming languages.Experience with Embedded Linux.Experience with multithreaded programming.Proficiency with communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is onsite daily, with potential for a limited hybrid work schedule once fully integrated. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
