Field Service Manager

ROLE: Field Service Manager LOCATION: Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati, OH metro) BASE PAY: (TBD confirm before posting) What We Do For over a century, PG LifeLink has been solving power and connectivity challenges for the environments that can least afford downtime: hospitals, research labs, and data centers. We've been the trusted name in isolated power panels since 1957, and our LabLink connectivity systems have expanded that reputation into labs and universities across the country. As our service business grows, we're building out the leadership structure to match, starting with this role. The Role As Field Service Manager, you'll lead PG LifeLink's field service team, our internal technicians, coordinators, and a nationwide network of contracted service partners, ensuring every job gets done safely, on time, and to code. You'll be the day-to-day leader for scheduling, dispatch, and technician performance, while also holding your team accountable for contract renewals and retrofit opportunities that come up during service visits. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll coach technicians, resolve escalations, and work closely with Sales and Engineering to keep field service capacity aligned with where the business is headed. You'll report to the VP of Operations and be a key voice in how PG LifeLink's service organization runs day to day. What You'll Be Doing Directly supervise and coach the field service team, including coordinators, technicians, and the Senior Service TechnicianOwn the field service calendar and technician dispatch, working with the Field Service Coordinators to keep jobs on scheduleHold your team accountable for service contract renewal rates and retrofit/upgrade opportunities identified in the fieldStep in as the escalation point for scheduling conflicts, urgent service needs, and after-hours technician or customer issuesReview service reports and customer feedback to catch recurring problems and drive fixesTrack and report field service KPIs, technician utilization, renewal rates, dispatch costs, to the VP of OperationsPartner with Sales and Engineering to align service capacity and spot new service or retrofit opportunities across the account base What We're Looking For 5+ years in field service, technical service operations, or a related supervisory role; healthcare, medical device, or electrical/technical service industry experience is a strong plus2+ years directly managing people, including hiring, coaching, and performance managementExperience scheduling or coordinating a distributed, field-based technician teamA track record leading a team held to revenue, retention, or attach-rate goals, and the ability to coach others toward those numbers without owning the sales cycle yourselfComfortable leading direct conversations with staff, customers, and technicians when issues come upFamiliarity with isolated power systems, electrical testing, or NFPA 99/70 healthcare facility standards is a plus, but not requiredBachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be consideredPre-employment background check and drug screen required.
