Overview Aloha! "Rokkaku Hamakatsu" is looking for a part-time Dishwasher who can work on Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. We are excited to add team members who are motivated, result-oriented, and 100% reliable! The purpose of this position is to wash and clean utensils, tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Ensures to keep the dish, equipment, and kitchen clean and organized. Responsibilities Collect used kitchenware from kitchen areas. Load and unload dishwashing machines. Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots and delicate dishes). Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately. Set up workstations before meal prep begins. Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours. Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary. Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues. Remove garbage regularly. Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor. Requirements Must be friendly and hardworking. Must have a POSITIVE attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand/walk/bend/stoop/climb/push/pull/twist/stretch/squat/reach, carries and lift up to 70lbs. Must have a ability to walk/stands/move during the entire shift. Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly. Able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long period of time. Able to understand and follow the work schedule. Must wear nonslip shoes at all times. Able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment.
