Fund Accountant

As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for providing specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios within our business line. Leveraging our advanced fund accounting technology, you will complete key aspects of Net Asset Value (NAV) execution, including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash management, and special handling. You will play a crucial role in break identification, issue resolution, and ensuring daily accounting deliverables are delivered accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

Core Operations & Portfolio Management

• Complete key NAV execution processes, including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, and special handling.

• Serve as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.

• Manage daily volume and production reporting while ensuring output meets quality and timeliness standards.

• Perform break follow-up and resolution to minimize risk and exposure.

Problem Resolution & Communication

• Verify information, follow up on open inquiries, and escalate problem items appropriately.

• Monitor, assist in, and oversee the resolution of operational issues.

• Communicate professionally and constructively with internal teams and other departments to effectively resolve issues.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to management reporting (e.g., Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, and R&A analysis).

• Gain a broad understanding of how your specific functions impact the firm as a whole.

• Contribute to division and firm process improvement activities to gain efficiencies and improve individual productivity.

• Help ensure overall team deadlines, requirements, and standards are met.
