Seasonal Quality Control Specialist, Ontario

Job Details Job Location: Ontario Warehouse - Ontario, CA 91761 Position Type: Seasonal Salary Range: $19.50 - $22.50 Hourly Job Shift: Day The Seasonal Quality Control Specialist will be expected to assist the QC team with measuring and quality checking merchandise. As a result of this person’s efforts, Lulus will be able to provide our customers with high quality merchandise, and accurate product descriptions. Schedule: Monday - Friday, from 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM. What You’ll Do Maintain knowledge of standards outlined in the Lulus Vendor Contract. Measure and quality check new and updated products in accordance with the Lulus vendor contract guidelines. Assist in coordinating and preparing vendor returns. Work cross functionally with the Receiving, Buying, and Creative teams on product issues. Performs other assignments from time to time as requested by the Operations Supervisor to achieve department and company business goals. What You’ll Need 1+ years of Quality Control in a warehouse or retail sales environment required. Excellent communication; written, oral and group facilitation. Excellent knowledge of punctuation, grammar, and spelling. Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers, at all times. Work well under pressure. Meet multiple, and sometimes, competing deadlines. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally. Intermediate knowledge of Admin, Microsoft office, and Google Drive. Ability to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problems. Ability to work independently and take initiative where needed. Work Environment Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures including heat, cold, and sometimes wet or humid conditions. Exposure to high background noise is probable. Physical Requirements for Performing Essential Duties Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 90% of the time is spent in varying work areas 10% of the time is spent in an office environment. Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with co-workers and subordinates. Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area, able to assess weights, and judge distances and heights. Good eye-hand/foot coordination. Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift/carry 50lbs by hand. Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access locations as needed. Nice to Have - Bonus Points!
