Convenience Store Sales Support Specialist Field-Based RemoteEastern Kentucky Applicants must live in or near Ashland, Morehead, Winchester, or Maysville, KY. Our purpose is Creating Better Experiences… the Modern Way, guided by our values of Optimistic Energy, Fairness, Teamwork, Customer Focus, and Gratitude.Position SummaryThe Convenience Store Sales Support Specialist works inside customer stores to improve product presentation, inventory availability, and the overall shopping experience. This role sets and resets merchandise, executes planograms, updates tags, monitors inventory, processes eligible returns, and works with store managers to improve store layouts and product placement.What You'll DoSet, reset, arrange, tag, and replenish merchandise in customer stores.Execute planograms and visual merchandising standards accurately.Maintain organized, properly signed, rotated, and visually appealing displays.Monitor inventory and help reduce out-of-stocks.Recommend new products based on customer and store needs.Process eligible product returns and customer credits.Work with store managers to improve layouts, displays, and product placement.Maintain merchandising supplies and prepare for upcoming store sets and resets.Occasionally assist with product or equipment deliveries and pickups.Maintain clean and orderly shelves, displays, and work areas.Build positive relationships with customers and store teams.Use smartphones, tablets, and other required technology.Follow all safety requirements and Team Modern policies.Perform other duties as assigned.StatusFull-Time, ExemptShiftMonday-Friday Hours: Typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required based on customer and business needs)TravelDaily travel throughout assigned territory is required.Occasional overnight travel and visits to Team Modern's Somerset office are required.This is a field-based role; most work will take place inside customer stores rather than from home.Compensation and BenefitsComprehensive benefits package, including:Health, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid life insurance and short-term disabilityEmployer-matched 401(k) – up to 4%, fully vested from day 1Paid vacation, personal, and sick timeEducational assistance programs and professional development opportunitiesWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to obtain a medical card to operate a small box truck when needed; Team Modern will cover the costAbility to travel daily and occasionally overnightStrong organization, time-management, and communication skillsProfessional and customer-focused approachAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to adapt to changing schedules and customer needsComfortable using smartphones, tablets, and related technologyAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlinesMerchandising, retail, convenience store, grocery, or inventory experience preferredPhysical RequirementsThis role requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting/handling merchandise.
