What You'll Do

• Perform high-quality 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams on adult and pediatric patients
• Coordinate with hospital departments for exam scheduling, patient transport, and billing accuracy
• Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing and measuring M-modes and exchanging pertinent information
• Manage dictation logistics, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of reports
• Respond promptly to patient needs during procedures and report any changes in patient condition
• Order supplies, maintain clean and organized exam rooms, and log patient data and records
• Participate in performance improvement activities at various hospital levels
• Provide on-call coverage for emergency echocardiography as needed
• Maintain equipment quality and coordinate repairs
• Stay current on advances in echocardiography and seek mentorship to enhance skills
• Support other cardiac procedures as required

What You Need

• Required:
• ARDMS/CCI registration or eligible, NM Echo Sonographer License, BLS certification
• 2+ years of echocardiogram experience preferred
• Strong organization, communication, and manual dexterity skills
• Ability to work effectively under stress and collaborate across disciplines
• Preferred:
• Allied health education background in diagnostic sonography, radiology, respiratory therapy, nursing, or related field
• Experience with pediatric echocardiography and emergency procedures
