• License/Certifications: ARDMS/CCI registered or registry-eligible, NM Echo Sonographer License, BLS (American Heart Association)
• Experience: 2+ years preferred in echocardiography

What You'll Do:

• Perform diagnostic transthoracic echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients
• Conduct technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams
• Assist cardiologists by preparing images, measurements, and pertinent data for diagnoses
• Coordinate with hospital departments for scheduling, patient transport, and billing accuracy
• Respond effectively to patient needs during examinations and communicate changes in patient condition to medical staff
• Order supplies, maintain clean and organized exam rooms, and keep equipment functioning optimally
• Log patient data and maintain accurate records
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
• Support on-call coverage for emergency exams outside typical hours

What You Need:

• Required:
  • ARDMS/CCI registration or eligibility, NM Echo Sonographer License
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two-year allied health education or related experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and perform manual echocardiography
• Preferred:
  • Two or more years of echocardiography experience
