Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid and active Colorado Teaching License (CDE)
- Possess current SLP endorsement
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC required
- Prior experience as a school-based SLP or pediatric clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability and interest in working onsite with K-12 students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting specific communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain timely and accurate records of interventions and student progress
- Serve as a resource and consultant to staff regarding speech and language development
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies
